Professional licensed guide services

Ms Julia Nekrasova is a professional guide with several years of experience and licensed to guide excursions in museums and museum complexes.

First of all, even before you are here, we can compose a full sightseeing program for you having heard your preferences and desires in advance.

Right now we suggest you have a look at the standard three-day program that is very intense and allows you to get the most out of your stay here. This three-day program is very popular among those who have a limited time in St. Petersburg, and highly recommended by them.

It looks the following way:

Day One

2-4 hour city tour that includes such sights as: the Square of Arts with the Michael's Palace, the Nevsky Prospect (the main street of St. Petersburg), the Anichkov Bridge and the Anichkov Palace, the Fontanka and the Moika rivers, the Kazan Cathedral, the Admiralty, the Winter Palace, the Palace Square, the General Headquarters Arch, the Senate Square with the Bronze Horseman (monument to Peter the Great), the Palace Bridge, the Spit of the Bazil Island, the Mosque, the House of Peter the Great, the Aurora Cruiser, Peter and Paul's Fortress (entrance upon request with visiting St.Peter and Paul's Cathedral where nearly all the Russian emperors are buried), the Smolny Convent, the Taurida Palace, the Foundry Bridge and the Foundry Prospect with the "Big House" (the KGB headquarters), Savior on the Blood Cathedral, Michael's Castle, the Summer Garden, the Field of Mars, St. Isaac's Cathedral (with a 30 minutes excursion inside), the monument to Nicholas the First, St.Nicholas Cathedral (with entrance upon your wish), the University Embankment with its historical buildings - Kunstkammer, the Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg State University, the Palace of Peter the Second, the Menshikov Palace, the Academy of Fine Arts.

Along with observing these sights you will hear the story of all of them, you'll get acquainted with the history of St. Petersburg, of the Romanov family, you'll see the marvelous panorama of the banks of the Neva River.

In the second half of the day after lunch we could visit the Hermitage Museum and have a 2-3 hour excursion there observing the magnificent interiors of the buildings, State Halls and the most important masterpieces of the West European artists. We can visit other departments of the museum at your request (the Treasuries, the Antique Sculpture Department, the Numismatic Department, the Egyptian Department, Art of China, Japan, Iran and other Eastern countries, and a lot more).

In the evening after dinner you can go to the theater to either watch a ballet or hear an opera. We reserve tickets to the most beautiful performances for you in advance. You can visit the Mariinsky (former Kirov) Theater, the Musorgsky Opera and Ballet House, or prefer a smaller theater. If you choose to hear and see something that is connected with the Russian folklore, there are folklore shows at your disposal with Russian dances, songs, tricks, traditional Russian instruments - balalaika and gusli - playing, playing on wooden spoons, on a saw, and much more. They are usually held in the former palaces of the members of the imperial family, so along with the show you'll have a perfect chance to observe the interiors of these palaces. You can also choose a circus show to your liking, whether or not you are with children.

Day Two

In the morning if the weather is fine we can have a wonderful all-day trip to either Peterhof or Tsarskoye Selo (Pushkin). In Peterhof the fountains are opened since the end of May so if you are here earlier, a trip to Tsarskoye Selo will be your best choice. You'll see Catherine's Palace and Catherine's Park with a lot of beautiful pavilions, sculptures, ponds, trees and flowers.

If you are here in summer it would be great to go to Peterhof. You'll see the Great Palace with its extraordinary interiors, the Upper Garden which resembles Versailles in its planning, and, of course, the Lower Park with its unsurpassable fountains. You'll be astonished by the Great Cascade with its gold-covered sculptures glistening amidst springs of crystal clear water! We'll walk around the Park and I'll show you every fountain that is worth seeing, along with pavilions and sculptures that all bear historical meaning. You'll get to the bank of the Gulf of Finland and see the famous Kronshtadt city far away on an island.

In the evening you can have a wonderful boat trip through rivers and canals of St. Petersburg, with or without an excursion. On the boat it's possible to order dinner, live music or folklore program.

Day three

This day will be more relaxed, you can choose a museum to your liking (the Russian Museum, the Yusupov Palace where Rasputin was killed, the Russian Ethnography Museum etc.) or prefer to go inside different cathedrals that are in abundance in our city. And then enjoy a long dinner at a Russian restaurant and taste authentic Russian cuisine in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
